What it is
REA connects an agent to local tools for inspecting native binaries, JavaScript and Electron apps, .NET assemblies, websites, and runtime behavior. Its evidence-oriented workflow is for reverse-engineering work, not a replacement for every underlying analysis provider.
Requirements
The README requires Node.js 22.x (at least 22.19), 24.x (at least 24.11), or 26+, plus npm. Deeper analysis can require Hopper, Ghidra, IDA, or other caller-supplied tools.
Limitations and review boundary
- Static inspection and runtime capture have different host and provider requirements.
- Commercial analysis tools must be obtained and licensed separately; REA does not provide keys or activation rights.
- Provider availability and target compatibility vary; this catalog has not independently run an investigation.
